Beat Final Fantasy VI
There’s a reason this is my favorite Final Fantasy. The plot is amazingly done and the graphics put Final Fantasy VII to shame. However, it has it’s drawbacks, mainly the fact that every character can master every spell given enough time. Also something annoying was that there were simply too many characters. I really could have done without Relm, Gau and Umaro. And the fact that there are too many characters means that in the World of Ruin, no characters really have special dialogue. Chrono Trigger had the right amount of characters so that they each had something to say about the situation, but Final Fantasy VI just has basically mute protaganists in the World of Ruin. This game had it’s overpowering insane superboss killers, in the form of “Celestriad – Soul of Thamasa – Quick – Ultima” and “Master’s Scroll – Black Belt – Fixed Dice / Valiant Knife” but it’s still fun. Why they aren’t remaking this with voice acting, 3-D and rocking sequels, I have no freakin clue, but this deserves a compiliation more than the under-overrated Final Fantasy VII.
